Exit Strategy
Our intention is to take the product from the current pre-clinical state into Phase II clinical investigation and then exit through sale to a strategic buyer. This should take approximately four years.
Companies who already have a major product on the market (Pfizer, Lilly, GlaxoSmithKline and Bayer) are likely to have the greatest interest in buying Genevé Bio. VEGF165 for erectile dysfunction should come to market about the time their current products are reaching the end of their patent life thus enabling them to leverage their market presence and sales forces well into the future.

Current competitors in the market will also find VEGF165 attractive because it would give their sales people access to physicians who have settled on competing products, offer opportunities to increase co-sales of their existing products, and would solidify their relationships with urologist who have little to offer patients referred to them because the popular products failed.
Many early-stage pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies sell out to larger companies after completing one or two Phase II studies. A recent review of such comparables yielded an average sell out price of $266 million with a range of $80 to $523 million.
The combination of large market and unique technology should make Genevé Bio a highly attractive opportunity to large pharmaceutical or biotechnology companies at our exit point.
